Description
BOX FIRE BF4 is a pre-assembled thermal module that allows you to heat rooms where the heating system is normally powered by a closed vessel boiler, through the use of hot water produced by an open vessel solid fuel heat source (fireplace boiler or boiler stove without built-in circulator). It allows the separate operation of the primary circuit (fireplace boiler) and secondary circuit (boiler) as required by the technical regulations in force, with excellent heat transfer by means of a 30 or 40 plate heat exchanger. In addition, the BF4 module also produces Domestic Hot Water through a 20-plate heat exchanger inserted on the primary circuit of the fireplace boiler, managing it alternately with the boiler by means of a 3-way diverter valve.
When the temperature of the fireplace boiler exceeds 30 °C, set on the FDG control unit, the PTC circulation pump of the fireplace boiler starts. When the temperature exceeds a second value of 40 °C, which can also be set, the VD motorized three-way valve diverts the DHW production from the boiler to the IC6 plate heat exchanger inserted on the fireplace boiler circuit. Finally, at a temperature of 70 °C, the PIR circulator of the heating system is started and the closed vessel boiler is switched off at the same time.
